The Buffalo Burritos Shames Its Competition!
As is always the case again and again in South Florida, the burrito that I have just feasted on was delectable! It is so rare to go to an establishment and be surprised on each visit. I am so lucky to live in South Florida, where this is almost never the case. Every single burrito I've tried astounds me, and the Buffalo Sandwich is just one of many. After trying the buffalo burrito, I know that there is no better place to grab an inexpensive and relatively quick bite to eat. It's virtually impossible to beat, with the amount that they provide. South Florida knows its portions, and they just never disappoint!
In a burrito/wrap, it's necessary to have a source of protein. This is true for all dishes actually. If you are a vegetarian, there is a delicious black bean hummus substitute which my friends and I all agree is one of our favorite things on the menu. If you want to go with meat, there are so many options that any carnivore will not be left unsatisfied.
My friends and I aren't too keen on any type of slaw. So when the employee at the front told us that this is what usually went on the buffalo burrito, we had no idea what to expect. South Florida's incredible blue cheese celery slaw was out of this world. Had I know it was that good I wouldn't have questioned it in the first place!
It doesn't really come on the buffalo burrito, but I love adding rice. I think that yellow rice really adds a significant texture to the burrito, that just can't be beat. I am so glad that Wellington allows for any taste bud to go home beaming.
The next thing you're going to want to venture into is one of the many choices of sauces. Of course for the buffalo burrito, it is a given that you will be putting buffalo sauce over the ingredients. How much though is really up to you. Let me tell you though that this sauce is delicious and really makes the whole burrito!
Another important sauce to the buffalo burrito is ranch. This adds a completely new twist to the buffalo, and one that will leave you satisfied. This is probably one of my favorite ingredients for this burrito. It was such an unexpectedly brilliant addition of flavor!
If you're going for a healthier wrap, you might want to skip out on too much cheese. If not, then you will be happy with South Florida's different variety of cheeses. It is so lucky that they had such fine, sharp cheddar cheese, because that is truly my favorite!
After tasting yet another burrito that makes my top 10 list, there is no more doubt! The quality and quantity alone is enough to have you going back for more. I am completely flabbergasted!
The Buffalo Burrito reminds me again why I love Wellington so much. I have searched high and low for affordable and delicious Flour Burritos like the ones I've had here. So far, it is an impossibility!
